Creating Thin Sections

Abstract
    This study is about thin sections: what they are and how they are made.  Also included are pictures and descriptions of the machines used in the process of creating thin sections.  The rest of the paper takes you through the process of making a thin section and has pictures of not only the process, but also some minerals that have been photographed.
