The first view is a mineral
observed under normal light,
while the second is the same mineral
viewed under
ultraviolet light.
The fluorescent mineral is fluorite. Under normal light, the fluorite is
rootbeer brown, but under the ultraviolet light it fluoresces a pale
yellowish
color.
