Kaolinite is Al2Si2O5(OH)4

Kaolinite is a very common clay mineral.  Its composition is a hydrous aluminum
silicate.  It is primarily used for making china and pottery.  However, kaolinite (also
known as kaolin) when mixed with the thickener, pectin, is known as Kaopectate.
