All views were derived from Google Mars and were originally obtained from the
 European Space Agency (ESA/DLR/FU Berlin).

To locate Mawrth Vallis on Mars, first locate Vallis Marineris.  Then proceed Northwest past
Ares Vallis (a very long valley)  to Mawrth Vallis.

Mawrth Vallis is nearly 400 miles long and appears to be one of the oldest large river
valleys on Mars.

In the following view, all observable flow features have been mapped.  There probably many more
flow features but limited photographic resolution and erosion prevent them from being mapped.

In order to create a stronger impression of the magnitude of Mawrth Vallis, a dark blue
line representing the main flow channel is imposed of the collection of flow features.
