petrified wood-drift wood-1
Oregon
The darker specimen is a recent piece of
driftwood picked up on the Pacific
shoreline in Oregon. The lighter
colored specimen is a piece of driftwood that
was silicified after the wood had
been reduced to driftwood (also from Oregon).
