Alaska-South and Central
all earthquakes plus earthquakes 3.4 and larger
An interesting feature is the chain of earthquakes extending southwest
into the Pacific Ocean from the mainland.  This is a recurring feature for
several years and its presence might suggest an suspected spreading ridge
as part of the tectonic pattern.

Earthquake data is from USGS Earthquakes of the Week.

all earthquakes plus earthquakes 17.5 kilometers and deeper

The suspected southwest feature is also comprised of earthquakes deeper
than 17.5 kilometers.
