While I waited,
I thought of your mouth
I thought of my breasts, and the feel or your hands against my skin.
It’s not necessary to close my eyes
the darkness behind my lids…
only increases my pain…of wanting you.
While I waited,
I whispered you name through the air
I guess, you could not hear.
I’m too quiet to speak it out loud…
so I send it through the air…it will be safe there.
It has no sound…it’s just whispered air
.
While I waited,
You noticed a beautiful scent when you thought of me…
that was my name…a name which starts a fever
inside of you…as you push me from your mind.
While I waited,
I laid chocolate on my belly
I stayed quiet and watched it melt.
The temperature inside me…will be your clock.
I’ll give you ‘til it turns liquid and runs against my skin.
Waiting is my unfulfilling game.
You know,
I have not chosen this alone.
My eyes will remain open…the air will still whisper… and dark chocolates
will melt the hours…as I wait for you.
